Elizabeth started her massage career later in life. She graduated in 1975 with a BA degree from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA in Psychology / sociology (with training in Horsemanship). 1975-1979 was spent in Ocala, FL working with racehorses; from breeding and foaling to breaking and training.

Between 1979-1983 Elizabeth then worked as a respiratory therapist at a small hospital in Palatka, Florida. Between 1983-1997 she then worked in the physiology research department at the University of Florida as a senior lab tech and cell culturist (for neuronal cells).

In January 1999 she was accepted into the Florida School of Massage. After several accidents and other trauma, she had been living with chronic pain. She then learned that massage was life-changing for her and others. While in massage school she trained in Reiki. She achieved all three levels of Reiki training from Reiki Master Jamie Butler. In 2000 she also started receiving chiropractic treatments. She discovered those regular adjustments, along with massage treatments, allowed her to work with much improved comfort even though she was performing 25 massages per week on her clients.

In 2003 she learned cranial and structured bodywork; a combination of Cranial Structural releases as well as very specific deep tissue protocols. It also included Emotional Energy release techniques. This would further improve her quality of life as she experienced a great improvement in her own physical condition using the therapy she was offering her clients.

In 2005 She became one of the few Certified SET Therapists (CSET) in the US.
