Hello, I’m Heather Thomas. I attended Sanford-Brown institute, graduated in 2006 and received my LMT license in 2007.I became a massage therapist because, it was always my dream. I wrote a paper in 4th grade and learned all about being a therapist. My mom would always have me rub her feet after a long day at work and found a lot enjoyment being able to help give her relief. That’s why I became a massage therapist, the ability to help people feel better and live better. I am also a mother of three. Two beautiful girls and one rambunctious boy, ranging from 6-14. I’m lucky to have been married to an amazing man for years. Most of my career I’ve worked with chiropractors and acupuncturists. I have extensive training in neck and low back pain relief as well as sport related injuries. I also have training in hand and foot reflexology. In April 2019, I took Peggy Boyd’s (CEO, Surgical Alternative) Cranial Fundamentals for Wellness class and found myself being fascinated by cranial structural bodywork and all the different problematic pain issues it can resolve. With a passion for wanting to help people live better, I knew I had to learn more and look forward to receiving my Cranial Structural Bodywork Certification as soon as possible. I love the fact that cranial structural work can help so many different people and I’m excited to be a part of Surgical Alternative.  Can’t wait to help you become pain free.
